Using the GlobalProtect VPN App for Android

Read this article to install and use the GlobalProtect App on Android mobile devices

• Go to the Play store and install the GlobalProtect app for your Android device, or use this link.

 

• Open the app and enter rvpn.bju.edu as the portal address. Tap Connect.

 

• Multi-factor authentication is enabled for VPN. On the Sign in page, enter your BJU email address and click Next.
• When prompted, enter your BJU password and click Sign in.
• Next Verify your identity using one of the authentication methods you have set up. Upon verification, you should be logged in to GlobalProtect.
• Tap OK to accept the connection request.

 

• Once the connection is complete, a key icon will appear at the top of the screen to show that the VPN is in use.
• Tap anywhere outside the “Welcome” message to close the message. The app’s screen should be blue.

 

• You may now close the app and use your device as usual.
• When you want to disconnect from the VPN, open the Global Protect app again and tap the green shield button.

 

• After running the VPN for the first time, it will remember your credentials. When you want to reconnect, open the app and tap the gray shield button.
