Apogee: How to Connect to Residence Hall Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi in the Residence Halls is provided by Apogee. Setting up a device on the Residence Hall network follows a different set up steps than for the BJU-Campus network.

Connecting to MyResnet

  1. When connecting for the first time, connect to “MyResnet Start Here” which will take you to the online portal (https://bju.apogee.us) where you can sign in using your school credentials (XXX@students.bju.edu).
     
  2. Register your devices: All devices should be added to your additional device list by MAC address in your portal. Use the link at the bottom of this section for more detailed instructions.
     
  3. Connect to the MyResnet network.
    • MyResnet-5G: Connect to MyResnet-5G for the fastest WiFi connection. This should be your default setting.
    • MyResnet-2G: If you do not see MyResnet-5G, your device may not be able to operate at 5G speeds. In this case, connect to MyResnet-2G.
       
  4. MAC Randomization: For iOS14+ and Android 10+ devices - Turn off private address feature when connecting to MyResNet-5G or MyResNet-2G.
